Born To Worship

"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor." - Isaiah 61:1-3

For as long as I can remember, I have been singing. I grew up worshipping Jesus in church and collaborating on musical endeavors with my musically talented siblings and parents. I was fortunate enough to receive some piano lessons as a young girl, and from there just started playing around on the piano and writing songs. Between 2006 and 2009, I recorded a few full-length albums: "Time Will Tell," "Leaving Home," and "Rebecca Chadd Live at Ike Box." Most recently (July 2017), I released a five-track EP called "The Nature of Now." My heart is to spread the truth, love, salvation, and freedom of Jesus Christ through song. I pray the music I share with the world encourages hearts, convicts souls, and strengthens spirits. I currently lead worship and write songs in my home town of Monmouth, OR.
